Reception of travelers

The Grenoble bus station is open to passengers 7 days a week, all year round, except on May 1st, from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Within the multimodal interchange, a free 30-minute drop-off is available in the Europole-Gare parking lot (on the left as you enter), accessed via Avenue Doyen Louis Weil (map and information).

Please note that it is not possible to buy a ticket on board from the driver in the bus station.

To buy your ticket, several solutions:

  • 2 automatic ticket machines (credit card payment only) are available in front of the building.
  • the Billetterie Information Oùra located in the SNCF station, open every day from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm (sale of tickets for regional buses, TER, LER, Transaltitude, Blablabus - airport shuttle).
  • You can also buy a ticket by SMS by simply sending a code (1z for 1 zone, 2z for 2 zones, 3z for 3 zones, 4z for 4 zones, 5z for 5 zones and 6z for 6 zones) to the number 93038 (details here).

Information broadcast to passengers on the screens

It is proposed to the transporters and partners of the Grenoble bus station to distribute information to travelers, through 2 screens located in the reception hall of the building.

All publications will be subject to validation by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region; only those intended for passenger or tourist transport will be accepted. All requests must be sent at least 1 week before the start of the publication to gareroutiere-grenoble@auvergnerhonealpes.fr

The rates for displaying advertisements on the screens are as follows (see Grenoble bus station operating regulations):
- 50 € excl. tax per week
- 175 € HT per month

Operating regulations

The regulation of the bus station of Grenoble is enacted especially for the attention of the personnel who manage the equipment, of the transporters that assure of the public or private transport, to the travelers and in a general way to all the people in contact with the equipment. He defines :

  • the rights of access and use,
  • the services offered and their pricing,
  • the obligations of the different parties.
